CPA – Choosing the Right Crane Hire Option
At Bernard Hunter, we provide two crane hire services to suit different project requirements. Both follow the Construction Plant-hire Association (CPA) terms and conditions, but the responsibilities and level of support differ significantly. CPA Standard Hire
With CPA Standard Hire, you hire the crane and operator, while you remain responsible for planning, supervision, site conditions, personnel, and insurance. Best suited to experienced customers with the capability and qualified staff to manage lifts safely.
CPA Contract Lift
With a CPA Contract Lift, we take full responsibility for planning, supervision, and execution. Our team handles surveys, lift plans, risk assessments, personnel, insurance, and compliance—offering a hassle-free, fully managed solution.
