CPA Contract Lift – Our Responsibilities

With a CPA Contract Lift Agreement, Bernard Hunter takes on the majority of the responsibility for the lifting operation. This means we will:

  • Provide an Appointed Person to plan and manage the lift
  • Prepare detailed method statements and risk assessments
  • Supply all necessary personnel, equipment, and lifting accessories
  • Ensure all staff are trained, qualified, and competent
  • Take responsibility for compliance with LOLER, PUWER, BS7121 and all other HSE requirements
  • Provide insurance cover for the crane, goods being lifted, and public liability
